STEP was established in 2011 to improve the life of children. Just over a decade later, we have grown to a community of 20 across London and the South East. Our academies are all considered to be at least ‘Good’ by Ofsted, with our most recent six inspections all graded as ‘Outstanding’. Pupils perform well in their Key Stage Two assessments, with an average of 74% achieving combined expectations in Year Six. Our stable staff group contains many examples of individuals growing with STEP - apprentices being supported to take on permanent roles, and PGCEs being developed into leadership positions. With mature career pathways in place, our diverse workforce increasingly reflects our varying communities, and as such we can truly say we Strive Together for Excellence in Partnership.
