Previously holding senior positions within the Defence and Higher education sectors Phil joined Leigh Academies Trust March 2020. Phil has a BEng in Computer Systems and Software Engineering at the University of Greenwich and an MSc in Building Services Engineering and Management at Brunel University.

As Estates Director, he has created a professional team with expertise in capital projects, operations, and compliance delivering exceptional estate management across 33 academies ensuring safe, inviting, and high-quality learning environments for students and staff.

A man of Kent, Phil lives in Maidstone with his wife, Claire, a teacher by profession, and their three children.
