One of the largest primary only MATs in the county, DEMAT exists to create the foundations for its pupils to build successful futures. Operating across four local authorities in both rural and urban locations with varying degrees of socioeconomic bandings, DEMAT academies prioritise the teaching of a well sequenced, powerful curriculum, have a clear and consistent approach to the teaching of reading, and harness the collective ambition of their staff through the DEMAT subject communities.
