I will never forget the moment I opened an email announcing that I had been shortlisted for the inaugural National Schools Awards 2019; it was one of absolute shock and delight. It was such a special day to be able to attend the awards with my Headteacher, Chair of Governors, friends and husband.

It is such an honour to be recognised in this specialised area and to be acknowledge by my peers at ISBL for my contribution to School Business Leadership at a National level; it is certainly a day I will always remember.

The National School Awards recognise the skill, commitment, and hard work it takes to deliver the best possible education, this is especially important in a time of such uncertainty. I welcome this opportunity to celebrate the contribution of school leaders and look forward to hearing of your incredible achievements in transforming the opportunities of children and young people.

We were absolutely delighted to have won the Leadership Team of the Year category at the National Schools Awards in November. It was such an honour to be have just been shortlisted!
Jospeh Cash is a challenging school with the most phenomenal pupils and so this award is credit to them as they inspire us as a team to make sure that we are providing the best possible Primary school opportunities for them. Winning gave the recognition to the JC team that they deserve - they are fantastic. The Awards Show was such a lovely evening and an opportunity to meet other professionals, it was a memorable end to 2019 and a true highlight for us all.
