Charlotte Harding

Director of Professional Development - National Governance Association (NGA)

As Director of Professional Development, Charlotte overseas NGA’s extensive and varied training and consultancy services, including their e-learning platform Learning Link. Charlotte has also managed a number of high-profile DfE-funded contracts for NGA; most recently the National Leaders of Governance (NLG) programme.

Prior to joining NGA, Charlotte worked for a local authority education directorate where she delivered extensive governor and trustee support, recruitment and training; she is also an experienced governance professional. Before following her passion for governance, Charlotte gained over 20 years’ experience in the private sector, working in recruitment and business management.

Charlotte is currently a trustee at a growing multi academy trust and previously chaired a maintained primary school.
